Alex Shahan Hyatt, 28, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX.
Services will be held at Adamsville Baptist Church on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 3 pm with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Townsen Cemetery in Adamsville.
Alex was born in Austin, TX on July 14, 1995. He grew up in Adamsville, TX, and graduated from Evant High School. After high school, he attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville and then went to work in the oil fields in West Texas. He also worked many years as a ranchhand and truly enjoyed being outdoors, working cattle, bull riding, attending rodeos, going to the auction barn, and hauling cattle with his Dad.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hiram and Linda Jones and Gordon Hyatt.
Survivors include his father, Andrew Hyatt, and wife Machelle; his mother, Nikki Jones; his brothers, Justin Hyatt and Lane Hyatt; his sisters, Marlee Hyatt and Summer Hyatt; his grandmother, Linda Medley and husband John; his aunts and uncles, Amanda Simmons and husband Matt, Beth Foster and husband Marcus, Glenn Hyatt and wife Carrie, Deanna Atkinson and husband Matt, and Amanda Cox and husband Howard as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
