Alice Humble, born on December 14, 1931, left us peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a devoted professional and a cherished family member, known to all as a kind and warm-hearted individual who dedicated her life to serving others.
For many years, she worked as a secretary for the drug and alcohol division on Fort Hood, where her commitment and diligence made a significant impact on the community. Alice's dedication to her work reflected her unwavering belief in the importance of helping those in need, and she carried that ethos into every aspect of her life.
Alice is survived by her loving daughters, Janice Whitely and Linda Neill. Her legacy also lives on through her adored grandchildren, Brenda Neill, Charles Neill, and David Neill, as well as a host of great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. These family members will continue to honor her memory and cherish the values she instilled in them.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin W. Humble, whose partnership brought joy and comfort to her life, and her son, Earl Wayne Humble, who is dearly remembered by his family.
A graveside service to celebrate Alice's life and legacy will take place on January 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects and share in the warmth of their cherished memories of Alice.
Alice Humble’s gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. As we reflect on her remarkable life, we are reminded of her grace, her compassion, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
