Ann Brown, 86, of Lampasas, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 9 am to 10 am. Graveside services will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 11 am.
Ann was born on June 22, 1937, in Athens, TX to Dee Richardson and Bessie (Darden) Richardson. She spent a lot of her time as a volunteer, primarily for the Red Cross and hospice organizations. She loved hummingbirds, reading, and Texas A&M. Ann also loved to share stories about her parents, siblings, and growing up. She was married to the love of her life, Phil Brown and they were content and comfortable and always mindful of the other's needs with patience and respect. They truly enjoyed being around each other. Ann also had a passion for music and had a beautiful voice.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Phil, and her son, Cecil Milton Crawford as well as three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include her son, Robert Crawford; her nieces, Cynthia Peters, Pat Settle, Brenda Lott, Linda Shirley, and Karen Saxon; her nephews, Henry Richardson, Steve Richardson, Darrell Richardson, and Robert Wayne Richardson; her grandchildren, Robert Crawford, Jr., Crystal Crawford, Brandon Crawford, Taylor Crawford, Casey Crawford and Caitlyn Crawford; numerous great-grandchildren and many other loving family members.
