Betty L. Atkison

Betty Lou Atkison, 77, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, in Kingsland, TX.  She was born on May 31, 1946, in Burnet, TX to Paul and Georgie Ratliff.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 10 am.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who loved to cook and was exceptional at it.  She also enjoyed country dancing and trips to Las Vegas.  Betty also loved her Lord Jesus Christ.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denton Atkison and son, Andy Atkison.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Jones; her sons, Clay Atkison and wife Michelle, and Keith Atkison; her brother, John Ratliff; her sisters, Shirley Miller, Glenda Watson, Melba Hartman, Wanda Lastly, Cindy Ward and her grandchildren, Tyler, Loden, Kailey, and Brooklyn.
