Charles Glynn Whitehead

Charles Glynn Whitehead, 82, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa at 2:30 p.m.

Glynn was born on July 20, 1942, in San Saba, TX.  He grew up in Lometa, TX, and spent most of his time working on ranches, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Glynn enjoyed hunting arrowheads and his jewelry.  His faith was also important to him and he was a believer.  

Glynn was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Baxter and David Leroy Whitehead, and his brother, Weldon Whitehead.

Survivors include his son, Scott Leroy Whitehead, and wife Ashley; his daughter, Sandy Kay Johnson; his sisters, Maxine Anderson, Rita Boren and husband Charles and Kathye Riofrio and husband Julio; his grandchildren, Kylie Moad-Williams, Colten Scott Whitehead and Jaycie Claire Johnson.
