Consepcion Ybarra

Consepcion Ybarra, age 88 of Lampasas, passed away on the morning of December 8, 2023, surrounded by her family. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a Rosary starting at 6:00 pm, with a visitation following until 8:00 pm, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Sneed Carnley Funeral Chapel.

Consepcion was born on December 8, 1935, in Southton,TX to the late Teofilo Ybarra and Hortencia Galvan. She grew up in Southton before moving to Lampasas at a young age with her parents. She grew up during hard times where one had to work for everything. She continued that strong work ethic well into her adulthood and was sure to pass it along to her children. Consepcion was very fond of spending time in her garden and shopping at local stores. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her, parents; sisters, Consuelo and Pabla Ybarra; and brothers, Antonio and Mariono Ybarra.

Consepcion is survived by her daughter, Connie Jass and husband, John; niece, Hope Ruiz and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Ann Schuricht and husband, Robert, Lesley Moore and husband, Jimmy, John Jass Jr, Justin Jass and wife, Lyric; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason, Collyn, Kylie, Tristan, Danielle, Jonathon, and Finley'; great-great-grandchildren, Achilles, Declan, and Theo; as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
