Cora Jean Litton

Cora Jean Litton, 81, of Lampasas, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen.

Services will be private.

Cora was born in Lampasas, TX on August 25, 1941, to Wilburn and Evelyn (Parsons) Weaks.  She grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School.  For most of her life, she took care of the elderly at her home and in their homes.  She was a natural caregiver and loved looking after her children and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, and cooking and was known for her fried chicken.  Above all her family was everything to her and she cherished her time with them. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kim Landers and her brother, Wilburn Darrell Weaks.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam Bocanegra and husband Jerry, Rexanna Bennett and husband Kris, Michelle Litton and wife Christina, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
