Crystal Lea Mullins Kinsey, 84, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Stoney Brooke Assisted Living in Copperas Cove, TX. She was born on November 11, 1941, in Winterset, Iowa to Jack White and Betty (Davis) Mullins.
Memorial Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.
Crystal moved from Iowa to Mathis, Texas where she lived until age 12 when her family moved to Austin, Texas. After a short time in Austin, at the age of 14, Crystal's family moved to Burnet, Texas. Crystal married Larry A. Kinsey in 1960 in Burnet, Texas. They were happily married for over 65 1/2 years. Crystal enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard and sewing.
Crystal began working for Dr. Bill Wineinger as an optometrist assistant, for approximately 13 years. After that Crystal accepted a new job with Dr. Hall continuing in the same field. In 1985, she left her job to open a new business with her husband.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Med and Betty Mullins and Jack White.
Survivors include her husband, Larry of Lampasas, Texas; her daughter, Deborah (George) Perry of Round Top, Texas; her son, Bo (Sandra) Kinsey of Buda, Texas; her daughter, Heather (Joseph) Finney of Lampasas, Texas; her sister, Margaret (Larry) Queen of Kempner, Texas; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Cameron, Cade, Tyler, McKinna, Brady, Kassidy and Kylie; her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Hayes, Finn, Aurelia, Aurora, Cynch, Ellisyn, Ford, Blanton, Axl and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
