David was born in Renton, Washington on May 29, 1964 to Dan and Phoenix Landis. A boy born to Serve...Indian Guides, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, U.S. Army Chemical Corps, Lampasas County Sheriff's Department where he was given the title of "Deputy Dave" Always willing to lend a hand, serve God at the Community Church, or throughout the community, Ever vigilant warrior of Service to God, Country and Family.            He will be truly missed by his loving family: Elaine Landis - devoted wife of 27 years - Lampasas, Texas Kenneth Landis - son - Adam Penney - partner -Andrea - Mother Kayla Landis - daughter - Lampasas, Texas Kyle Landis - son - wife Emily - Lampasas, Texas  Jason Halbrook - stepson - Lampasas, Texas Kenneth Cooke - adopted son - Lampasas, Texas Bonnie Siegwarth- adoring companion - Lampasas, Texas                                As well as his loving Siblings Bradley Landis - brother - wife Maria -  Seattle, Washington Deana Weyant -sister - husband Rick - Carnation, Washington Dunyele Mason - sister - Port Angeles, Washington                                                                       Grandchildren - Friends Alyssa, Jaydon, Joshua - All of Lampasas, Texas -  And a Multitude of loving friends                                                 SERVICES Viewing will be held at Sneed Chapel, 201 East Third Street, Lampasas, Texas on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Burial will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 am                                       ** CELEBRATIO0N OF LIFE**    ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US FOR SONG AND CELEBRATION OF DAVE'S LIFE                                          COMMUNITY CHURCH   Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm, 219 East Third Street, Lampasas, Texas                                             IN LEIU OF FLOWERS   Folds of Honor, for scholarships for the children of fallen warriors.
