David Allen Porr

David Allen Porr, 59, passed away on July 2, 2022 at Advent Health Rollins Brook in Lampasas, Texas.  He was born on July 25, 1963 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada to Richard and Thelma Porr.

A memorial service will be held at Sneed Carnley Funeral Chapel at 10 am on Friday, July 8, 2022.

David grew up in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada.  He attended Prairie High School in Three Hills, Alberta.  After high school, he spent his early adult years as a general laborer in and around Three Hills, Alberta.  He worked at Cullum Farms, Courtney Berg, and Tro-Val Meats in and around Linden Building Bins.  He then began work as an electrician where he worked for 7 years, he worked as an electrical contractor in the Middle East and Antarctica for 17 years.  David enjoyed chess, music, and reading.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Thelma, and sister, Phyllis.

David is survived by his children, Alana (Alex) MacDonald of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, Ana (Dalton) Harbin of Lampasas, TX, Nathan (Kobe) Porr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, TJ Porr of Denton, Texas; his brothers, Phil (Diane) Porr of Covington, Washington, Doug Porr of Penhold, Alberta, Canada; grandchildren, Maizy, Tenleigh, and Kempner MacDonald and Maylee and Elijah Harbin; and his nieces, Alisha, Jenna, Ryleigh and Hayleigh.
