David Sawyer, 56, of Lampasas, passed away in San Antonio, TX, on April 29, 2025.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 6 pm, with visitation to follow until 7:30 pm. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 10 am.
David was born in Lampasas on August 26, 1968, to Mary and James Sawyer. He grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School. After high school, David worked as a mechanic and was employed with Benny Boyd for many years, and retired in 2022. David loved working on cars, buying and selling them and attending car shows and he won many awards.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Sue Jacob and his companion of 20 years, Laura Berkman.
Survivors include his parents, Mary and James Sawyer and his brothers, Dwayne Sawyer and Danny Sawyer.
