Dee Singleton

Dee Singleton, 90, of Lampasas, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at his home in Lampasas surrounded by his loving family. Dee was born on November 19, 1932, in Mills County, TX to William R. Singleton and Linnie Hardin Singleton. Dee faithfully served his country in the U.S. Air Force and after his time in the service went into civil service as a mechanic on helicopters where he retired after 32 years. He was a hard-working family man who loved fishing, and hunting and was hunting up until about 5 years ago. When his children were younger he also enjoyed building model airplanes for them and enjoyed making his own knives. Dee was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, James E. Dufner and Jackie DeWayne Dufner; his sister, Juanita Arnold; brothers, William Singleton, Charles Singleton, John Singleton, Tobie Singleton, and Billy Singleton. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Denise Singleton; sons, Kenneth E. Miller and wife, Sylvia, Robert D. Singleton; sister, Ann Kelly and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members.
