Delphis N. Benoit, SFC (Ret), passed away peacefully on July 30 2024, at the age of 93, in the arms of his loving wife. He was born on April 9, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the province of Montreal, Canada.

Delphis is preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sons, Raymond and Kenneth, a brother, and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife Karin, children Norman, Delphis , Karin, Edmund, Patricia, Mona, Veronica, Michele, and over 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and many friends.

Delphis proudly served our country in the United States Army for 24 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class (SFC), and 20 years in Civil Service. Throughout his career, he displayed immense dedication and discipline while bravely fighting in the Korean Conflict and twice in the Vietnam War, earning a bronze star.

In addition to his military accomplishments, Delphis cherished his marriage to his beloved wife Karin for almost 69 years. Their enduring love and unwavering support for each other was evident to all who knew them. Together they shared countless cherished moments and created a lifetime of memories.

Delphis will be remembered for his unwavering sense of honor, his proud Catholic faith with many years of volunteer service to the church, and his unconditional love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy that will forever influence those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be at Sneed - Carnley Funeral Chapel (1614 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, Tx 76522) on Monday August 5th from 5:00pm - 6:30pm followed by the rosary at 6:30pm. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Delphis's life and honor his memory at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday August 6th at 11:00 am followed by burial with military honors at Cove City Cemetery.

May Delphis N. Benoit's soul rest in peace as we remember and honor his remarkable life journey filled with love, service to country and dedication to family.
