Dorothy Lee Dawson

Dorothy Lee Dawson, 97, of Lampasas, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1 pm.

Dorothy was born in Kempner, TX to R.L. Patterson and Beatrice Wheeler Patterson.  She enjoyed traveling and dancing across Texas, especially square dancing.  She also enjoyed needlepoint.  Dorothy primarily lived in Lampasas and spent most of her career working at Ft. Hood.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Dawson; brother, Wendell Patterson, and sister, Neva Patterson Luthi.

Dorothy is survived by her cousins, Lanell Owens, Larry Wheeler, Doris Wakeman, and Doyce Wheeler; nephew, Robert B. Luthi and nieces, Denise Patterson and Cheryl Hull.
