Douglas Alan Lee

Douglas Alan Lee, 70, passed away on November 9, 2020, at Continuing Care Hospital in Temple, Texas. Doug grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and, graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi in 1968. After high school, he attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi where he received an Associate's Degree in Restaurant Management. Doug married Kathy in 1987 in Corpus Christi and they were happily married for 18 years. He worked for Walmart for 20 plus years before retiring in 2012. After retiring he owned and operated his own firearm's business here in Lampasas, which he was extremely passionate about from 2012 until his passing. Doug was also a member of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sandra Lee. Survivors include his ex-wife and mother to his children, Kathy of Lampasas, TX; son, Connor Lee of Lampasas, TX; daughters, Kiara Lee of Lampasas, Cassandra Lee of Savannah, Georgia; sister, Susan (Larson) Lee of Susanville, California; daughter-in-law, Holly of Lampasas and his beloved grandson Wyatt Alan Lee of Lampasas, TX. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Baylor Scott and White of Temple, Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Andy Harris of Franklin, Texas, and Zac and Chonna Colbert of Waco, TX.
