Memorial services for Mr. Elliott are scheduled for Thursday April 23, 2009 at 2:p.m., at Sheppard Chapel of Memories, with Robin Traweek officating. Mr. Elliott passed away Sunday April 19, 2009 at his residence in Copperas Cove. He was born February 7, 1940 in Aurelius Township, Michigan to the union of Clare Cecil and Edna Lucille Parker Elliott. He was a Baptist by faith. He was very active in Charity Motorcycle Runs. He was self employed in Landscaping and small engine repairs. He was also a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel and Friend of Bill W. He served in the United States Army for over 21 years, his medals included: National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea); Army of Occupation Medal; Safe Driver Badge; Good Conduct Medal; Silver 1 Loop and Expert Rifle Medal. Survivors: Wife: Dottie Lee Elliott of Copperas Cove Sons: Duane Cecil Elliott of Texas City, Tx. Robert Goergen and his wife Neva of Austin, Texas Ronald Goergen and is wife Cindy of New Haven, New Hampshire Tommy Lee White Daughters: Angela Elliott of Austin, Texas Carolyn Goergen of San Antonio, Texas Denise Menendez of Baytown, Texas Suzy Davis and her husband Jeff of Copperas Cove, Texas 20 Grandchildren 5 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents.
