Felicia Pamela Delores Draper, lovingly known as "Pooh Bear," passed away on August 17, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1982, in Ft. Hood, Texas and her light shone brightly from the moment she entered this world until her untimely departure.
Felicia attended Copperas Cove High School, where she graduated as part of the class of 2000. Her dedication was apparent even then as she was determined to forge a path towards a bright future. She was a beacon of positivity and warmth. Always ready with a smile or an encouraging word for anyone in need. And her infectious laughter and kind-hearted nature touched countless lives.
Felicia took after her mother as she was an amazing cook, artist, and kind soul. There wasn't anything she could not whip up or create, and these gifts were an extension of her love to all whom she always welcomed. Felicia's family meant the world to her. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with love and laughter. And her greatest honor came from being a loving mother to her children whom she adored.
Let us remember our beloved "Pooh Bear" for the joy she brought into each of our lives. Her legacy of love, kindness, compassion, and resilience will continue to inspire generations to come. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Felicia was preceded in death by her parents, Delores Fizer Draper and Robert E. Draper Sr., who provided unwavering love throughout her life's journey. With their nurturing guidance, Felicia blossomed into the remarkable woman she became.
She is survived by her beloved daughters Adrianna and Elicia Torrez; her cherished sons, Javier and Xavier Torrez; her siblings, Rachel Draper-Marion, Deanna Stoneroad, Robert Draper Jr., Jacqueline Draper, and Anthony Draper; her 11 nieces and nephews: Lydia, Randy II, Chandler, Madison, Robert III, Noah, Aaliyah, Keara, Imani, Jasmine, and London who always held a special place in her heart.
Afterglow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
