William Franklin Bristow (Frank), 82, of Lometa, passed away at his home on February 18, 2024.
Services will be held at Church of the Hills in Lometa on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 2 pm with visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Senterfitt Cemetery.
Frank was born on May 5, 1941, in Smithville, Arkansas to Leland Paul Bristow and Minnie Louise (Wildrick) Bristow. Frank served his country in the United States Army as an Air Defense Crewman. After the military Frank primarily was self-employed in residential construction. He was extremely handy, enjoyed time in his shop, and could build and fix anything. He had a great sense of humor, was laid-back, and above all else enjoyed his family, especially those grandchildren and great-grandchildren! He loved teaching them all how to fish in his pond. Frank was also a lover of nature, he enjoyed his time in Colorado, enjoying the mountains and snow.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah Bristow; his parents, Leland and Minnie Bristow; his brothers, Ray Bristow, Lewis Bristow, Roger Bristow, Steven Bristow, and sister, Rose Bristow; step-grandson, Nathaniel Anderson and son-in-law, Stephen Vickery.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Collins, and husband Todd; his son, Cody Bristow and wife Chris; his sister, Charlotte Heller; brothers, Jeff Bristow, Scotty Bristow and wife Ann, Thomas Bristow and wife Gerry, and Truman Bristow; step-daughters, Rhonda Vickery, Chrystal Trueblood and husband Troy, Rockcie Barker and husband Rick, Amanda Rhoades and Alexa Rhoades; his grandsons, Paden Collins, Quaid Collins and wife Jourdan, and Beau Bristow; his great-grandchildren, Bishop Collins, Dekker and Delilah Collins; his granddaughter, Hermione Rhoades; his great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Roberts and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frank was a family man, loved his family dearly, and took pride in all he did. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
