Frank Tores Martinez

Frank Tores Martinez, 81, of Lampasas, passed away peacefully in Temple, TX, on September 14, 2026.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.  Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 10 am with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. 

Frank was born in Lampasas, Texas, on October 4, 1944, to Trana and Fidelia Martinez.  After high school, Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He then worked as a mechanic for most of his life.

Frank enjoyed dominoes and going to the local VFW to play in tournaments.  He played dominoes all the way until he could no longer due to illness.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his daughter, Rachel Pierre, and husband, Dion; his grandchildren, DaMarcus Jones, YaNija Surles, and Tava Surles; his great-granddaughter, Mehilani Surles; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
