Glenn Horn, 80, passed away on October 30, 2024, in Las Vegas, New Mexico.  He was born on February 7, 1944, in Paige, Texas to Rev. August and Marie (Klunkert) Horn.

Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. 

Glenn grew up in Manheim and Eola, Texas.  He graduated from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska.  Glenn worked for the American Heart Association for over 35 years, retiring in 2004.

Glenn married Mary Ann Moerbe in 1965 in Taylor, Texas.  They were happily married for 59 years.  Glenn was a member of Genesis Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing on his farm, spending time with his grandchildren, and golfing with his family and friends.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Helen Karcher and Vivian Stobb.

Glenn is survived by his spouse, Mary Ann of Burnet, Texas; his two sons, Michael Horn of Olathe, KS, and Eric Horn of Roanoke, Texas; his sisters, Dorothy Wachsmann of Manheim, Texas, and Jean Linderman of Georgetown, Texas; his grandchildren, Connor Horn, Cole Horn, and Caiden Horn and his nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Genesis Lutheran Church in Buchanan Dam, TX.
