Heather was born in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri, to Rodney Lee and Kathryn Elaine Weaver Conrad on January 9, 1982. Being an Army Brat she lived in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri; Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Aschaffenburg, Germany; El Paso, Texas; Fort Lewis, Washington; Widflicken Germany; Darmstadt, Germany; and Copperas Cove, Texas. She graduated in 2000 from Copperas Cove High School. She earned her Associates’ degree from Central Texas College, Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from ARGUSY, and a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from SNHU. She worked as a front desk clerk and night auditor at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, The Townplace, the Hilton Gardens, Shelf edge for HEB Lampasas, Central Texas Market in Plano, Texas and worked on the Outreach Team for Central County Services. After spending a few years in Dallas she was content to return to Copperas Cove and appreciated the quaintness of the town.
Her favorite season was winter and her symbol was a snowflake. Heather's favorite holiday was Christmas; she loved the music, decorations, foods, and desserts. As a child, she listened to Christmas music throughout the year.
Heather had three basic moods: energetic, serene, and playful. Her hyper mood consisted of music, dancing, and singing. Her quiet mood required a cozy blanket, a good book or movie, and her cats. Playful was watching endless cooking and beauty tutorials on youtube. She had a vast knowledge of music and movies. If you couldn't remember the name of a movie, actor or song just ask Heather. She'd pop off a quick answer. She loved doing things for shock value anything from singing a slightly inappropriate song at a talent show to dressing a little outrageous to go shopping with mom.
Heather is preceded in death by Grandparents: Raymond and Thelma Sheaffer Conrad and Roy and Millie Koontz Weaver; Her 2 beloved cats, Tigger and Finnigan; and Guinee Pig, Rocky.
Heather is survived by her parents, Rodney and Kathryn Conrad; brother, SFC Dustin (Valerie) Conrad of JBLM, WA; nieces, Kacie (Austin) Duncan, Kylie Conrad; nephew, Dylan Conrad; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in PA.
The family of Heather Conrad wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Nurse John, Heath Aides Val, and Suwanna.
