Ina Rose Whitney

Ina Rose Whitney, 83, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at her home in Argyle, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Senterfitt Cemetery, 2627 W. FM 581, Lometa, TX, 76853.

Ina was born on March 14, 1938, in Dallas, Texas to Jack and Dorothy (Dean) Maples.  She grew up in Dallas and married Joe Whitney in 1978 in Dallas, Texas.  They were married for 38 years.

Ina is survived by her sons, Gary Wayne Smith, Randall Dean Smith; daughter, Kimberley Renee Connell; grandchildren, Melisa McCullough, Christen Smith, Tiffany Espiricueta, Bobby Smith, Tyler Smith, Paul Connell, Andrew Connell; great-grandchildren, Kiley Whetter, Skylar McCullough, Tony Espiricueta, Jocelyn Espiricueta, EllieMae Smith, Declan Connell, Brendan Connell, and Kaitlyn Connell. 

Ina is also survived by her late husband Joe Whitney's children, Robert Whitney, Randy Whitney, Rhonda Whitney; his grandchildren, Johnny Whitney, Cad Whitney, Josh Whitney, Joey Whitney, Andrew Whitney, Autumn Curtis; his great-grandchildren, Cruz Curtis, Luna Curtis, Darren Jones, and Nolan Whitney.
