James Dwayne Sawyer

James Dwayne Sawyer, age 60, of Lampasas, TX, went to his eternal home in Heaven on May 5, 2025, after an extended illness.

Dwayne was a custodian and groundskeeper for Lampasas Independent School District.  He loved attending Church of the Hills in Lometa, TX.  Dwayne had many hobbies, including target shooting, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and working on cars, to name a few, but his most favorite thing to do was spending time with his granddaughter, Izzy.

Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Ashley, his son-in-law, Junior, and his granddaughter, Isabela Griego of Lampasas, TX.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Sawyer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm, officiated by Dwayne's uncle, Shane Hart.  Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel and Cremations has charge of the arrangements.
