It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Reid Norton. Born on January 23, 1974, in Killeen, Texas, Jason's journey through life ended too soon at the age of 51 on May 10, 2025, in Kempner, Tx.
Jason was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. To his daughter, he was known as "Dad", always offering quiet support and unconditional love. To his son, he was "Pops", providing a calming presence and understanding. To his granddaughter, he was "Pop-Pop", always ready to make her laugh, brighten her day, and a gentle and warm shoulder for her to lay her head on. To his friends and family, Jason's warm smile and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the fortune of knowing him. His kindness and laughter will echo in their memories for years to come. In this time of sorrow, we reflect on the joy he brought into our lives, and the love he shared so freely.
Jason was a gifted and sensitive artist whose creative work ranged from paintings to sketches reflecting his deep appreciation for beauty and served as heartfelt expressions of love and storytelling. Jason also had a deep love for adventure and being outdoors. It was through these adventures that he grew into the kind and patient man so dearly remembered. His adventures shaped his unique perspective, allowing him to find beauty and hope in the difficult times.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Teresa Holt; his children, Angel and Noah Norton; his granddaughter Annmarie Gordon; and his eight siblings, Eric Norton, Aaron Norton, Rachel Kirkham, Daniel Norton, Regina Norton, Renee Norton, Rheanne Moore, and Blaise Holt who will carry his memory forward.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Mark Norton; stepfather, Andrew Holt; grandparents, William Norton, Verna Norton Hunter, and Daniel Loth.
