Jesus Hernandez

Jesus Daniel Hernandez, age 17, of Kempner, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 24, 2020 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove with burial following at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Jesus was born on December 13, 2002 to Rolando Hernandez and Sindia Lozada in San Francisco, CA. In December of 2006 they moved Copperas Cove. He attended Cove Charter Academy from the second grade and would be a junior this year. He loved music, basketball, playing video games with his friends and most of all helping his friends. Jesus was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Killeen.

Jesus was preceded in death by his father, Rolando Hernandez.

Jesus is survived by his mother, Sindia Lozada and husband, Angel Hernandez; brother, Josue Figueroa; sisters, Lucy Hernandez, Esther Hernandez; grandparents, Heriberto and Lucy Marquez; aunts, Ana Marquez, Luz Anderson and husband, Nathan; and cousins, Kristian and Wesley Anderson.
