Jim Hale Miller, Jr.

Jim Hale Miller, Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Lampasas.

Memorial services will be held at the Church of the Hills in Lometa on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 2 pm.

Mr. Miller was born on October 13, 1951, in Buda, Texas to Jim and Annie Miller.  He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Masters of Criminal Justice degree and served in the Army National Guard.  Jim worked in law enforcement for over 40 years and was awarded as a Texas Narcotic Officer of the Year.  He enjoyed living on his ranch, taking care of his exotics, and being outdoors hunting and fishing.  Jim loved to be surrounded by his family and friends.  

Survivors include his sons, Michael Miller and wife Amy of Lometa, Jim Hale Miller III "JH" and wife Crystal of Lampasas and five grandchildren.
