It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen May Lindsay Conway, who peacefully departed this world on April 7, 2026, at Lily Springs Nursing Home. Born on February 25, 1954, in Cleburne, Texas, Karen graced us with 72 years of unwavering love, kindness, and devotion. Karen was the cherished daughter of Orma Dale Lindsay and Harry M Lindsay, who predeceased her, along with her two brothers, David and Alan. She is survived by her sisters: Kathy Sheppeard, Suzanna Kappelman, Grace Pernales, Maureen Kelly. Though her journey began humbly in the heart of Texas, she spent her life illuminating the lives of those around her with boundless compassion and warmth. Married to best friend, Jack Conway, on May 1, 1973, Karen embraced her role as a wife and homemaker with grace and dedication. Their union was a testament to enduring love, marked by over half a century of shared dreams and unwavering support. Karen was the proud and loving mother of her sons, Jonathan Conway and Jimmy Henkel. Her family expanded to include her beloved daughter-in-law, Christina Conway, and countless others whom she embraced as her own through adoption and love. Her legacy is further carried on by her treasured grandchild, whose laughter and joy were the light of Karen's lite. A devoted Christian, Karen's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was known for her loving spirit and her ability to weave comfort and warmth into every interaction, much like the beautifol creations she crocheted with her hands. When not skillfully working on intricate puzzles or delving into genealogy research, she could often be found sharing her wisdom and kindness with her family and friends. Karen's gentle nature and nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, making the world a kinder place. Her legacy is one of love and genernsity, a reminder to all who knew her to cherish each moment and to hold family close. A service to celebrate Karen's remarkable life will be held on April 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and find solace in the love she so freely gave throughout ber life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Karen's honor to a charity of choice, reflecting her litelong commitment is helping others. Though she has left our carthly embrace, Karen's spirit will torever remain in the hearts of those who loved her, May her soul rest in cternal peace, surrounded by the love and grace she bestewed upon us all.
