Kayla Renee McElhannon

Kayla Renee McElhannon, 40, went home to be with our Lord on January 3, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in The Woodlands, TX.  She was born February 13, 1981, to John D. and Tanya Geis McElhannon.

A memorial service will be held at Lampasas Community Church on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 2 pm, officiated by Roland Schaub.

Kayla grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School.  She enjoyed being a mom most of all and she was very proud of her son Caiden.  She also enjoyed crafting, spending time with family, and raising pit bulls.  Kayla was preceded in death by her younger brother, Justin Allen McElhannon; her grandparents, John and Dorothy McElhannon and her grandfather, Allen Geis.

Family members left to cherish her memories are her parents, John D. and Tanya McElhannon; her son, Caiden McElhannon; her girlfriend, Sindy Farfan; her grandmother, Jerra Geis; sister-in-law, Misty McElhannon Stout and her husband Christopher Stout, six wonderful nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Because of her love for rescue animals, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
