Kenneth Lee Bench

Kenneth Lee Bench, 81 of Lampasas passed away May 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Lee O. Bench and Nora (Collins) Bench. He was in the Air Force Reserve, then served in the U.S. Army for over 21 years. He was a bug exterminator for many years after his military career. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and he loved playing musical instruments. Kenneth loved his family. He is survived by his sons; Leeon Bench of Canyon Lake Simon Bench (Elizabeth) of Ft. Worth Daughtre; Holly Shinn (Alan) of San Marcos Shavon Bench of Canyon Lake 6 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren Sister, Martha Shivery of Broken Arrow, OK Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, by 2 brothers, Lee O. Bench Jr., Mervin (Dutch) Bench and by sister, Neva Bench. Private family viewing will be held Tuesday and graveside service will be conducted Wednesday May 20, 2020 in Okmulgee, OK with full military honors.
