Kenneth D. Hill, affectionately known as "Kenny," has left a void in our lives through his untimely passing on September 29, 2023. Born on April 27, 1971, in the city of Augsburg, Germany, Kenny later found his home in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Kenny dedicated his life to serving and protecting the community as a Police Officer for an impressive span of 20 years. Notably, he spent five of those years as a valuable member of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). His commitment and unwavering loyalty to justice marked him as a pillar of strength in the eyes of his colleagues and the community he selflessly served.

Beyond his professional achievements, Kenny's calm demeanor left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. Fond memories emerge when reminiscing about his love for Mustangs and Football – passions that formed an integral part of Kenny's identity. It was well-known that one should never attempt to engage him in any important conversation while the Cowboys are playing. Thanksgiving meals were always planned before noon every year to ensure nothing clashed with their games.

While Kenny claimed not to be fond of animals, those closest to him knew otherwise. With two dogs and a cat now filling the void at home, it became clear that Kenny's heart was much softer towards his furry companions than he let on.

Kenny's educational journey led him to Midwestern State University, where he pursued and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. This knowledge served as a foundation for his exemplary career devoted to upholding the law and safeguarding society from harm.

Mild mannered, compassionate, caring, and generous – these qualities breathed life into Kenny's noble character. His compassionate nature illuminated countless lives during times of both celebration and tribulation. Whether lending an empathetic ear or extending a helping hand, Kenny's impact transcended the tight-knit realm of his immediate family and touched the lives of a wide array of individuals.

Kenny will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends. His loving wife, Kimberly Hill, will forever cherish the memories they shared and the love they nurtured throughout their journey together. Additionally, Blender Hill, Ann Hill-May, Jasmine May, Zek, and Stan Hill will forever bear the heartache of losing a beloved brother and uncle.

The opportunity to honor Kenny's life through a visitation will take place on October 7, 2023. Friends and loved ones can gather at the Copperas Cove Location situated at 1614 S FM 116 in Copperas Cove, Texas. The visitation will commence at 11:00 AM and conclude at 1:00 PM.

As we bid farewell to Kenny with heavy hearts, let us remember him not through sorrowful tears but rather through cherished memories that bring smiles to our faces. His legacy as a dedicated police officer and devoted individual will continue to inspire for generations to come.  Kenny has earned his wings and will be reunited in heaven with his mother and father, Milton and Corine Hill.

In this time of mourning, we extend our deepest condolences to all those who knew and loved Kenny. May we find solace in reminiscing about the remarkable life he led and find comfort in each other as we navigate this difficult journey of grief together.
