Larry "Sammy" Dean Terry

Larry Dean Terry "Sammy" passed away on May 23, 2026, in Killeen, TX.  He was born on January 31, 1953, in Houston, TX to Jerry Henry Terry and Nina Marie Poston..

A family memorial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Sammy grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School, where he was a member of the LHS Band.  He played the snare drum and was extremely talented.  After high school, he attended Central Texas College.  After college, he began working for the Winters family in Lampasas.  Sammy was an animal lover and never turned an animal away.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Henry Terry and his aunt, Reba Jo Terry.

He is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Naizer and Jennie Mitchusson and his brother-in-law.
