Lewis Richard Captain

Lewis Richard Captain, 50, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with a visitation an hour prior. Lewis was born on November 19, 1969, in Traverse City, MI to Richard Captain and Alice Salazar. Lewis grew up in Lampasas and Burnet and graduated from Burnet High School in 1988. His hobbies included cooking, baking, and hanging out with family. Lewis will be terribly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Captain. Survivors include his mother, Alice Salazar of Liberty Hill, TX; sisters, Isabell Acosta, and husband, Christopher O'Bryan of Kempner, TX, Celeste Halweg and husband, Thomas Halweg; nieces, Dalila Green, Dannica Ralph, Christina Leigh O'Bryan; nephews, Tyrese Acosta, Thomas Halweg, Allen Halweg, whom he loved with all of his heart, he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
