In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mother
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, "Pat" แพท, daughter to Moon (father) and Janpeng Muangmin (mother); a woman whose boundless love, strength, and generosity touched the lives of so many. She departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
Born and raised in Thailand, she was deeply rooted in the values of kindness, humility, and spirituality. Her faith in Buddha guided her throughout life, shaping the gentle and selfless spirit that so many came to know and love. Despite having only a basic education, she carried an extraordinary determination and an entrepreneurial soul that would take her far from the humble village of her childhood to a new life in America.
Arriving in the United States with courage in her heart and dreams for a better future, she built multiple businesses from the ground up — not just to provide for her family, but to serve and uplift her community. To many in the Thai community, she was not only a successful entrepreneur, but a guiding light — a second mother, and a friend. Her home was always open, her table always had room for one more, and her heart never knew the meaning of strangers — only extended family.
Mom had a special love for fishing. It was on quiet lakes with friends, the sun setting over calm waters, that she found peace and joy. She could sit for hours, laughing, sharing stories, and catching fish with a sparkle in her eye. Those moments reflected her spirit: calm, patient, and filled with quiet wisdom.
She also loved to travel — exploring new places with friends and family, creating memories that now live on in the hearts of all who shared those journeys with her. Whether it was a trip across the country or a return to her roots in Thailand, every experience became a story told with warmth, laughter, and love.
She lived not for herself but for others. Her love was her legacy — a love that transcended blood, culture, and borders. To know her was to be cared for, to be welcomed, to be reminded of what it means to be truly seen and loved.
Mom leaves behind her children (Paul 'Mike", Patricia, Anita), grandchildren (Dwayne, Keith, Steven, Kyra, Kyle, Jordan), great grandchild (Amberlee), Partner (Wayne), and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by her presence. Though we mourn her deeply, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived — a life that will continue to inspire us every day.
May her soul find peace and light on her journey beyond this world. We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her ancestors, embraced by the compassion of the Buddha, and watching over us with the same love she gave so freely in life.
"แม้แม่จะจากไป แต่ความรักของแม่จะอยู่กับเราตลอดไป"("Though Mother has passed, her love will remain with us forever.")
With eternal love.
