Margaret Marie Queen went home to be with Jesus on February 24, 2026. Marge was born on May 24, 1940, to Walter "Jack" White and Betty Marie Cooper.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. The family will welcome friends and relatives for visitation an hour preceding the service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Marge grew up "on the move," living in Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and finally calling Texas her permanent home. There, she met her husband Larry, whom she married on July 29, 1961. They went on to spend the next 64 years raising their children and doing life together.
Marge worked for many years as a licensed vocational nurse, fulfilling her true calling of caring for everyone, in any capacity.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Lester Queen, her parents, Med F. and Betty M. Mullins, and her beloved sister, Crystal Kinsey.
Marge is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Rick and wife Shelly, Kim, Randy, Trayce and husband James; her 11 grandchildren, Jacob, David, Meagan, Ricaé, Kristin, Travis, Nichole, Maycie, Alex, Dylan and Larry; her 23 great-grandchildren, Eli, Ethan, Elyse, Brooks, Olivia, Asher, Xander, Audrey, Sera, Christian, Olivia, Luke, Beckett, Maryn, Taylor, Allie, Abby, Maisie, Jackson, Aiden, Thomas, Annabelle, Daniel and many beloved nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
