Marjorie S. Taylor, née Schwalm, passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on November 6, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Marjorie will be remembered with love and respect by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life began in Pittsburgh, where her story first took shape, and she carried that story throughout the years with quiet dignity, strength, and grace.

Marjorie dedicated 14 years of her professional life to Central Texas College (CTC), from which she retired on May 31, 2012. Her years of service were an important part of her life and reflected her commitment and dedication to her work and community.

Marjorie and her husband, Charles, were also founding members of the Copperas Cove Moose Riders. Together, they shared a love of the organization, the friendships they formed, and the many memories they made along the way. The Moose Riders became a meaningful part of their lives and connected them with a community of friends who will remember Marjorie fondly.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, who passed away in 2014; her parents, Chester and Helen Schwalm; and her brother, Chester C. Schwalm.

She leaves behind her children, Carol McIntire, Gerald "BoJo" Taylor, Eddie Taylor, and Trina Taylor, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched throughout her life.

Services

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Location, 1614 S. FM 116, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the same location.

A graveside service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas 76542.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Moose Lodge 2029 at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Marjorie’s life, share memories, and honor the woman she was and the many lives she touched.

Marjorie’s passing marks the loss of a beloved woman whose memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will live on through her family and friends for generations to come.

May Marjorie’s memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.
