Mary Ann Rhodes

Mary Ann Rhodes, 80, died March 13, 2019.  Mary was born July 29, 1929, to Jose Campos Contreras and Petra Mireles Contreras.  She married Lester Ray Rhodes on October 18, 1947, in Vacaville, California.

Mary worked for Central Telephone Company in Las Vegas, Nevada and retired from the Killeen office in 1986.  She was an active member and Past President of both the American Business Women's Association and the Texas Extension Education Association Rumley Club.  She was a member of the Aircraft Owner's and Pilot's Association and the Aircrafts Pilots of Metropolitan Oakland in California. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, sons-in-law, Alan Fisch and Jim Snyder and grandson, Adam Werner.  She is survived by her daughters, Diana Fisch of Lampasas and Becky Snyder of Las Vegas, Nevada and her son, Curt Rhodes and wife Barbie of Reno, Nevada; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Fisch (Tess) and Julie Polier (Michael), and by four great-grandchildren, Dylan Fisch, Tyler Fisch, Arianna Polier and Mikyla Polier, all of Las Vegas.

Interment was held at Wingate Cemetery in Wingate, Texas.
