Funeral services for Mr. Brinegar will be held Saturday,December 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at the Clear Creek Baptist Church in Kempner, Texas with Bro. Thomas Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Clear Creek Baptist Church with military honors. Mr. Brinegar died December 1, 2009 at Scott & White Hosptial in Temple. Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2009 at Sheppard Funeral Home 6 - 8p.m. Mr. Brinegar was born January 21, 1921 in Copperas Cove, Texas to the union of Charlie Brinegar and Lottie Christine Kidd Brinegar. He married Flora Sanner on May 20, 1956, in High House, Pennsylvania. They were married 53 years, 6 months and 11 days. He was born and raised in Copperas Cove. He was in the Navy and served in World War II. He was a Civil Service employee in the maintenance division. He was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church for 80 years and a deacon. His Grandfather and Uncles were founding members of the Clear Creek Baptist Church. He was also a member of AFGE. Loving Family Wife, Flora Sanner Brinegar of Copperas Cove, Texas Son, Charles Brinegar and wife Andera of Santa Fe, Texas Son, Jerry Brinegar and wife Kim of Tampa, Florida Brother, David and wife La Nell Brinegar of Copperas Cove, Texas Seven Grandchildren: Austin Brinegar and wife Nan, Jessica Brinegar, Justin Brinegar, Angela Dean and husband Dustin,David McMillen, Kerri Brinegar, and Dustin Brinegar. One Great-grandchild: Hide McMillen And a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Five Brothers, Edwin Brinegar, Buster Brinegar, Emmitt Brinegar, Charles Brinegar and Daniel Brinega; Two Sisters, Christine Brown and Elvie May Walters. Pallbearers: Justin Brinegar, Austin Brinegar, David Brinegar, Randy Wade, Raymond Triveno, Dustin Dean, and Lonnie B.Walker. Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons of the Clear Creek Baptist Church.
