Patricia "Momma Pat" Oakley

Patricia "Momma Pat" Oakley, 71, of Lampasas County, was born on April 23, 1954, in Dallas, TX.  She gained her angel wings on August 11, 2025.  

The family will have a celebration of Pat's life at a later date.

Pat was a strong Christian woman who loved living at the Oakley Ranch, along with all the livestock that she took care of, especially her dog, Hank.  She enjoyed cooking and canning, and she loved spending her Sundays at church.  She was very proud of all her Houston family, and when she visited, she made sure to go shopping at Traders Village.  An evening of board games such as Yahtzee and dominoes was the highlight of her days. She also enjoyed a good game of poker and a challenging game of bingo.  She was also a fan of attending the Renaissance Festival and spending time with her best friend, her daughter, Shellie.

She loved her family and friends, and not only was she a wonderful mother to her daughter, Shellie Oakley, whom she loved more than anything, she was also "Momma Pat" to many close friends as well as a loving granny and sister.

Pat loved tending to her flower bed and sitting on the front porch watching the hummingbirds.  She made friends with everyone she came in contact with, she loved fishing, and had the most contagious laugh.  She will be missed dearly, but we are left with the peace that she is no longer in pain and is looking down watching us.
