Patricia L. Owens

Patricia Louise Owens of Nix, passed from this life on May 8, 2025, at the age of 75.  She was born on July 20, 1949, in Bastrop, Texas to Dale Faught Sr. and Joyce Allen Faught.

Graveside services will be held at Nix Cemetery on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11 am.

Patricia grew up in Houston and moved to Lampasas in 1962.  She was a 1967 graduate of Lampasas High School and married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Owens, that same year.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Faught Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bruce Owens of Nix; her sons, Michael Owens of Nix and Mark Owens and wife Kristy of San Saba; her brother, Jerry Faught and wife Judy of Lampasas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Patricia worked several jobs over the year,s including Gibson's Sporting Goods, Lampasas Public Library, and 25 years in various office positions at Walmart, where she retired as the invoice clerk in 2010.  She enjoyed making cross-stitch art, hunting indian artifacts on her family's property, and caring for her kitty cats.  She also cherished her family vacations to Ruidoso, New Mexico, to watch the horse races.

She will be dearly missed by all those who know and loved her.  May she rest in peace.
