Paul Tee
Cooper
January 23, 1948 – April 13, 2026
Paul Tee Cooper, age 78, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away peacefully on 13 April 2026. Born on 23 January 1948 to Jack Horace Cooper and Evelyn Juanita Turi, and raised by his mother and grandmother, he lived a life marked by service, strength, and a spirit that could brighten even the hardest days.
He was a man who believed in showing love through action—long days spent providing for his family, fixing what was broken, and offering steady guidance whenever it was needed most. His wisdom was simple but powerful, and his presence brought comfort and laughter to everyone who knew him.
A proud veteran, Paul served his country with honor from June 1968 to April 1979, carrying that same dedication into every chapter of his life. His discipline, loyalty, and quiet courage shaped the man he became—one who stood steady for others and never hesitated to lend a hand. His legacy of service continued through his children, who also chose to serve in the military.
Dad was also known for his humor, the kind that could fill a room and lift a mood in an instant. Whether it was a perfectly timed joke, a mischievous grin, or a story told just a little too dramatically, he had a gift for making people laugh. His humor wasn’t just entertainment—it was comfort, connection, and a reminder not to take life too seriously.
Throughout his life, he took pride in his military career and the many jobs he held afterward—from working at Hasbro Toy Company in El Paso, Texas, to welding, to moving homes. No matter the work, he was admired for his kindness, resilience, and generosity. He enjoyed fishing, watching his wrestling, and finding joy in the simple moments: good food, good company, and a good laugh.
Above all, Paul cherished his role as a father. His love, guidance, and humor shaped the lives of those who knew him best, and his legacy will continue through his children and grandchildren.
Dad leaves behind his children Paul “Mike,” Patricia, and Anita; his grandchildren Dwayne, Keith, Steven, Kyra, Kyle, and Jordan; and his great‑grandchild Amberlee.
His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.
