Pauline R. Bamburg

The sun rose on July 29,1934 for Pauline Mullins.  On May 29,1953 she married the love of her life, Fred Bamburg. And just like her birth, the sun was rising when Pauline Mullins Bamburg died on April 29, 2025, with Fred by her side.

Pauline was an active and energetic lady who always put her family first. She was "Mom" to Mike and Linda Bamburg, Sandy and Darwin McClellan, Tim and Tara Bamburg and Melvin Bamburg.  To her beloved grandchildren, Darwin, Jr. and Courtney McClellan, April Bamburg, Ben and Olivia Bamburg, Chris and Allison Bamburg, and Misty and John Heimbuck she was "Mawmaw.” Pauline's family continued with 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, all of whom brought her the greatest joy.

This wonderful lady is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie "Stephie Shell" McClellan and an infant grandson, Ryan Benjamin McClellan, as well as her parents and 6 brothers and sisters.

Pauline enjoyed visiting and shopping with friends, collecting beautiful tea pots, crafting, reading, and puzzle books.  She and Donna Wheeless never missed their monthly pedicure appointments so she could continue wearing her many dazzling flipflops.  Pauline and Fred could be seen eating out or enjoying many activities with their long time friends, Sandy and David Boling. Visitors always knew they would get a hug and an invitation to enjoy the candy she kept stocked in various places in the living room and kitchen. Pauline was active with the Shriners and volunteered often to help with their parades and fund raisers for the Children's Hospital.

The Bamburg family will receive guests for a time of memorial service on Friday, May 16, 2025 starting at 1:00 at Sneed Carnley Funeral Chapel of Copperas Cove.
