Quintin Brice Eddy was welcomed into this world on September 20, 1944, by his parents, Brice M. Eddy and Mattie Floy Eddy. Quintin passed away peacefully at his home on April 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Quintin was raised and spent most of his life in Lampasas. He met the love of his life Sylvia Ann Taylor and they married on August 22, 1964. They enjoyed life together for nearly 62 years. To this union 2 daughters were born. Marian and Adrian were blessed to have Quintin as their dad.
Quintin was a member of School Creek Baptist Church. He was strong in his faith and love for the Lord. He instilled that love in his daughters throughout their lives.
Quintin Brice made his living and supported his family by building cabinets. He was a master at his craft. He also enjoyed building, working on and shooting guns. The thing he found the most pleasure in was farming and ranching the land that his family ranched and that his children will continue to care and look after for the years to come. No matter what tools Quintin picked up, whether carpenter's tools, automotive tools or farming equipment, he was a master craftsman and artisan.
Quintin Brice was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; his daughters, Marian Salisbury (Clay), and Adrian Connolly (Clint); his grandchildren, Evan Salisbury, Owen Salisbury, Avery Salisbury, Caden Connolly (Michaela), Cassidy Langley (Cameron), and Kendal Connolly (Braden); his great-granddaughter, Madi Suede Connolly, who loved her Grandpa Brice; his brother, James (Jim) Eddy (Neta); his nephew, Roy Taylor; his nieces, Terri Taylor and Beth Rhyan (Tad) and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Graveside services will be at Center Cemetery in Lometa on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10 am.
