Ramona Fay Smothers

Ramona Fay Smothers, 65, passed away on January 22, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 15, 1960 in Neubrucke, Germany to Paul and Mina "Fay" Supon.

Mona grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and graduated from Widefield High School.  In high school is where she met Henry Marshall Smothers Jr. and they were married on September 30, 1976.  They were happily married for 49 years.  She was a devoted, steadfast military wife.  Mona was also a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She was a second mom to many of her children's friends that she loved very much.

Mona was preceded in death by her dad, Paul Supon and her mom, Fay Supon.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Henry Marshall Smothers Jr.; son, Henry Smothers III (Amanda) of Kempner, TX; son, John Smothers (Stephanie) of League City, TX; daughter, Cynthia Carter (Jason) of Lampasas, TX; and daughter, Elizabeth Glowinski (Justin) of Lampasas, TX; grandchildren, Jacqueline (Justin), Henry IV (Denisse), Chloe, Waylon (Mackenzie), Jaden, Jake, Isabella, Jaxson, David; great-grandchildren, Seth, Ezra, Quentin, Henry V, Oaklynd, Ryder; siblings, Edward, Leslie, William, Julia and Monica as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1 pm.  Funeral services will be held immediately following at 2 pm.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
