Robert "Cootie" L. Millsap

Robert "Cootie" L. Millsap, 94, of Lampasas, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Robert was born in Lampasas on July 24, 1927, to Robert and Oddie Millsap. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. Robert loved hunting, fishing, raising cattle, and working his land as well as spending time with family and friends. Most of his career was spent working on Fort Hood with the Civil Service as an Industrial Director. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Millsap in 2012 and brother-in-law, David Ray Scott, and many other loving family members. Survivors include his cousin, Helen Earl Tatum; sister-in-law, Barbara Scott; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved dog, Bobbie.
