It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Frank Freyer, lovingly known as Bob, who left this world peacefully in his sleep on July 9, 2025, in Copperas Cove, Texas. Born on November 26, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Bob's life was a testament to resilience and the power of love.
Bob dedicated many years of his life to his career as a lead salesman for Benjamin Moore paints in the northeast, where his infectious personality and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. But more than his professional achievements, Bob was a devoted husband to Edith Sharon Freyer, the love of his life, and a father to his four children: Scott R.J. Freyer, Kristin Milewski, Meghan Freyer Campbell, and Ryan Freyer. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Helene Green, Howard Poppel, Robert Poppel, and David Poppel with the same loving care he extended to his own children.

His commitment to personal growth was evident as he celebrated a remarkable 24 years of sobriety, turning his life around and offering inspiration to those around him. He was not just a dad; he was a steadfast supporter, a friend, and a beacon of hope for his loved ones.
While proud of his family, Bob also found joy in other passions. An avid golf enthusiast and a devoted fan of his sports teams, he proudly cheered for the Yankees and Jets. His personality radiated warmth, charm, and humor—traits that drew people to him effortlessly. He had an uncanny ability to be a friend to everyone, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
