Robert "Scott" Lincycomb, 72, of Lampasas, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Advent Health Rollins Brook in Lampasas. He was born on May 19, 1949, to Robert and Iona Lincycomb in Corpus Christi, TX. Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm. Services will be on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11 am at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Scott served his country in the US Air Force and then was employed with the Civil Service, retiring after close to 30 years. He loved dominoes, playing washers, and shooting pool and was a member of the local VFW Chapter #8539. Scott loved his family dearly and he stepped up to the role of being a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lincycomb, and sister, Cynthia Hoozer. Survivors include his loving family, Betty King, Deborah Papp, Elizabeth and James Peele, Bryan and Teri Lincycomb, Jonathan Lincycomb, Denise and James McCarter, Gerald Lincycomb; mother, Iona Lincycomb, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
