Rosie Garcia

Rosie, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away tragically on October 19, 2025. Born and raised in California, Rosie spent more than half of her life surrounded by sunshine, laughter, and memories she helped create before her family made a scenic change to Copperas Cove, Texas. There, she continued to share her warmth, humor, and kindness with everyone around her.

Rosie began working alongside her mother as a housekeeper, a role she dedicated herself to for over 12 years.

One of the most profound expressions of Rosie's love was the care she gave our father Victor during his battle with dementia. She lovingly tended to him through every stage of his illness, offering patience, compassion, and a gentle sense of humor that brought comfort in difficult moments. Rosie found peace in the slowness that came with caring for her frail father, cherishing the quiet, tender connection they shared until his passing.

Although Rosie never married and never had children of her own, she is leaving behind her beloved cat, Jinx Drew. She poured her love generously into her family -- especially her nieces and nephews, who lovingly knew her as "Titi Rose."

Rosie had a beautiful way of making people feel seen, loved, and cared for. Her kindness, laughter, and gentle soul will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
