Sandra Kay Blackburn

Sandra Kay Blackburn, 78, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, in Hamilton, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with a visitation an hour prior.  Interment will follow at Murphree Cemetery in Evant.

Kay was born on July 14, 1942, in Lampasas, Texas to Jerry and Mona Jones Gee.  She married RD Blackburn on December 15, 1961.  They were happily married for 60 years.  She is preceded in death by her husband, RD Blackburn on February 14, 2021, and, brother-in-law, Jackie Blackburn.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Betty Weeks and husband, Gail, Jimmie Blackburn, Teresa Cathey and husband, Bobby, Glenda Shinn and husband, CE; brother-in-law, Bill Blackburn and wife, Cindy and numerous nieces and nephews.
