Sidney Fincher

Sidney W. Fincher, age 64, of Copperas Cove passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. An informal gathering with the family will be held from 1 to 2 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.

Sid was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Warren and Billie Ramby Fincher on December 1, 1955. He married Shirlene Rollins on May 20, 1979, in Buda, TX. He graduated from Texas State University.  He worked as an Operations Research Analyst with Army test command on Fort Hood, TX for almost 31 years.

He was an avid cyclist and musician.  He enjoyed playing racquetball.  And loved spending time with family.

Sid Fincher is survived by his wife, Shirlene Fincher; his son, Shea Fincher (Brynna); his daughter, Sidra Jaimes (Joel); his sisters, Dianne Hilburn, DaRenda Vineyard, and his six grandchildren, Gabriel, Jazmine, Alan, Serenity, Evan, and Seren.
