Tanner Ray Reid

Tanner Ray Reid, 35, of Lampasas, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen.

Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 10 am.

Tanner was born on May 7, 1986, in Dublin, TX to parents, Rickey and Teresa Reid.  He grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School.  Tanner worked in security in Alaska and loved working and living there.  Tanner was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, mudding, 4-wheeling, and everything outdoors.  Tanner also adored his niece and nephew and loved taking them fishing, rides in his truck, and 4-wheeling and just enjoyed being around them as they enjoyed being around him.

Tanner had a huge heart and would help anyone regardless of his situation at the time.  He had a great sense of humor and was loved by many and will be dearly missed. 

Tanner was preceded in death by his grandfather's, Jessie Henderson, Wesley Davis; uncle, Kenny Davis, and aunt, Dorothy Reid.

Survivors include his parents, Rickey and Teresa Reid; sister, Tara Fields, and husband, Brandon; niece, Jessi Fields; nephew, Jensen Fields; grandmothers, Patsy Henderson, Carolyn Cason; aunts, Missy Morris, Peggy Gailey and husband, Larry and numerous cousins, family members, and friends.
